George William “Bill” Bailey, 78, of Kissimmee passed away August 2, 2016 at his home. DeDaddy as he was known to everyone who knew him was born October 24, 1937 in Hawthorne, Fl. Bill was married to his wife Avis of 58 years and had one daughter Lisa Sorenson married to Randy Sorenson and two grandchildren Blake and Tyler.
Bill moved to Kissimmee in 1971 and opened Gateway Ford. After retiring in 2008 Bill enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Bill never met a stranger and once said “You need to talk to everyone you meet because you never know when you may be talking to an Angel.” Now he is an Angel.
Bill is preceded in passing by his mother and brother. He is survived by Bobby Boyett, Jimmy Boyett (Joyce), Terry Boyett (Patsy), Sue McKenzie (Rudy) and Jerry Boyett (Rita) as well as many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
Funeral Services for Bill will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel, Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home, Kissimmee, with Judge Hal Epperson, Officiating. Reception follows services at the funeral home. A Private family entombment will follow reception at The Chapel of Light Mausoleum, Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation for friends will be from 10:00 A.M. up until 12:00 Noon Friday prior to funeral services in the chapel.
