Francis A. Couture, 77 of Kissimmee passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at home with his family by his side. He was born in Claremont, New Hampshire and moved to Kissimmee in 1980 from Holyoke, Massachusetts. He was the retired president of the Carpet Center in Kissimmee and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Francis was a Veteran serving his country faithfully in the National Guard.
Francis is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Couture of Kissimmee, Florida; daughter: Tricia Kirchner of Lutz, Florida; brothers: Rocco Tetreault (Priscilla) of Houston, Texas, Rene Couture Jr (Eleanor) of Kissimmee, Florida, Richard Couture (Elaine) of Kissimmee, Florida; sister: Mary Lee Efford of Plant City, Florida; 3 grandchildren: Anthony, Connor and Jacob. Francis was preceded in death by a son David in 2004.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Fr. Tim LaBo as Celebrant, 1603 N. Thacker ave., Kissimmee, Florida 34741. Francis will be laid to Rest in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in South Hadley Falls, Massachusetts.
