Jacqueline M. Mantz, 82 of Kissimmee passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014. She was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania and moved to Kissimmee in 2013 from Mesa, Arizona. She was a retired Librarian and attended the First Presbyterian Church of Kissimmee.
Jacqueline is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Richard F. Mantz of Kissimmee; sons: Richard F. Mantz Jr of California, Dr. Timothy K. Mantz of Pompano Beach, Florida; daughter: Deborah Dison of Louisville, Kentucky; sister: Susan Weinkoup of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and 2 grandchildren.

John G Abbott Jr , age 86 of Kissimmee, Fl passed away on October 22, 2014. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to John G. and Mary Abbott and moved to Kissimmee, FL about 27 years ago. He was Catholic by faith and he was manager for Whitman’s Chocolates until his retirement. He is survived by his daughter Jeanne M. Abbott and sister Dorothy Manley of Chantille, VA.

Joan K. Hogan
Joan passed away surrounded by her loving children on October 25, 2014 following a brief illness in Kissimmee, FL. She was 76. Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 13, 1938, she was raised in Lynbrook, LI. She was a graduate of Queen of the Rosary Academy, Amityville, NY and Notre Dame College, Staten Island. A passionate life long educator she taught in the Northeast & Midwest before settling in West Palm Beach, FL in 1978. She taught for many years at St. Juliana’s & Sacred Heart Catholic Schools. As a second grade teacher she brought young souls closer to The Church’s teachings by guiding them through the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion. She eventually relocated to Kissimmee, FL and was an active substitute teacher as well as cast member at Disney’s Wide World of Sports. She retired in August 2014.
Her family includes two children: Daniel V. Hogan of Marietta, GA and Patti Hogan of Melbourne, FL. A sister and brother-in-law; Sally Ann & John Fitzgerald, a niece Tara Fitzgerald, two nephews and their wives, Sean & Laura Fitzgerald, Dan & Rachael Fitzgerald and her great niece’s & nephew’s Keane, Anna, Collin, Atty, Jack, Finn, Zaylee & Zane Fitzgerald of St Paul, Minnesota and New Richmond, WI. She was predeceased by her parents John & Beatrice (Duffy) Hogan of counties Galway & Roscommon, Ireland and a sister & brother-in-law Marilyn & Walter Thoreson of Malden, Massachusetts.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church in Kissimmee, FL. Internment at Mary, Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach, FL will take place at a later date next winter.

Peggy Sue Luzadder

Sue Luzadder
Sue died at home on Monday, October 28, 2014 with her daughters at her side. She was born Peggy Sue Smith to the late Murhl and Violet Smith on September 7, 1934. She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1952 and earned an arts degree from Ball State University in 1957.
She married the late Richard “Dick” Luzadder in 1953 and moved to Kissimmee, Florida in June 1960. Together they founded the Osceola Shopper and St. Cloud Shopper. They owned the Kissimmee Gazette and the St. Cloud News. They worked together, side by side for more than 20 years and were married almost 50 years.
She loved to travel anywhere and everywhere and there are few places she had not visited. But her true passion was her family and friends and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with them.
She leaves loving memories to be cherished by her daughters Lynn Luzadder, Lauren Quackenbush and her beloved grandsons: Parker Quackenbush, Logan Quackenbush, Hudson Quackenbush and her many, many friends.
A graveside service will be held at Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, (1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, Florida) at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 31, 2014 with a reception to follow at Kissimmee Bay Country Club.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Kissimmee, 101 West Dakin Avenue, Kissimmee, Florida 34741; Lake Highland Preparatory School, 901 Highland Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32803; or Osceola Council on Aging, 700 Generation Point, Kissimmee, Florida 34744.

Billy Ray Early, age 82, of Kissimmee, FL passed away on Monday October 27, 2014 with his family by his side. He was known for his response to “How are you Billy Ray?” His response was “Faaaantastic!” Billy Ray worked for Lockheed “Skunkworks” for 36 years before retiring in 1996. Some of the planes he worked on were the L-1011, SR-71 “Blackbird”, and U2\TR1. He was a US Navy Korean War Veteran serving on aircraft carriers. He loved the Blue Angels.
He is survived by his daughter Raylene (Jeff) Ramey and his 6 grandchildren Justin, Andrew, Matthew, Kimberleigh, ELizabeth and Melissa Ramey. His most proud moments were spent with his grandchildren. His favorite saying was, “If I would have known grandchildren were this much fun he would have had them first”. He has 2 brothers LeRoy Early and Michael Brewer and a sister-in-law Jackie Brazell. He is preceeded in death by his loving wife Joyce Early and his sister Norma Jean Proctor.
Visitations are Sunday November 2, 2014 from 1:00-4:00 pm at CONRAD AND THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME 511 Emmett St KLissimmee, FL 34741 A service will be Monday November 3, 2014 at CONRAD AND THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME followed by interment with full military honors at Florida National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.

Loretta Mae Summers, 86 of St. Cloud passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014. She was born in Akron, indiana and moved to Osceola County 45 years ago from Indiana. Loretta was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, embroidering and making crafts. She was a Presbyterian by faith.
Loretta is survived by her sons: Jack Summers (Janet) of Rochester, Indiana, John Summers (Carol) of Apopka, Florida, Stephen Summers (Kay) of Rochester, Indiana, Rick Summers of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; daughter: Pam Whalin of St. Cloud, Florida; sisters: Virginia Ruth Davis of Rochester, Indiana, Barbara Schriver of Indiana, Cheryl Schriver of Indiana; brothers: Jack Schriver of Indiana, Milo Schriver of Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband John and her aunt and uncle Jack and Faye Gordon who raised her as a child.
Memorial Services will be held on November 11, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Akron Cemetery in Akron Indiana.

Cheri Clark, age 48, of Davenport FL went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2014 after a two year battle with liver failure. 
 She is survived by her husband Chris, daughter Janell Brenner, mother and step father Jan and Jon Baker.  Cheri also leaves her father in NJ, step daughter in Texas, two step grandsons, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. 
 She was a people person. She had many friends, enjoyed cooking, going to the beach, and just being outdoors. She also enjoyed equine activities that she shared with her daughter. She loved all animals and would have had a menagerie if you let her.
 
A memorial service will be held for her on November 23, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Higher Grounds Church in Intercession City. Service by Pastor Don.

Leon Wayne Canning, 64 of Kissimmee passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014. He was born in Milford, Connecticut, May 22, 1950, the son of Russell James and Lillian Mabel Canning. He moved to Kissimmee 25 years ago from Sandy Hook, Connecticut. Leon was a retired engineer and a protestant by faith.
Leon is survived by his wife Jo Ann Canning of Kissimmee; son: Brian Lee Canning of Tigard, Oregon; daughter: Sara Beth Canning of Orlando, Florida; brothers: Ramon J. Canning (Elizabeth) of Pomfret Center, Connecticut and Roger Canning of Hernando, Florida.

BHIM MAHADEO, 68
Bhim Mahadeo December 1945-November 2014. Resident of Kissimmee died after a courageous 2 year battle with various health issues. Bhim Passed away peacefully at The Palms at Park Place Nursing Home and Rehab on Friday November 7th 2014. Bhim was born and raised in Mc Bean Village, Trinidad W.I.  He worked as a self employed mechanic and Taxi driver for 20+ years until he was forced to stop due to his illness.
He was one of seven children born to the late Surujdaai Sukhu and Mangaroo Mahadeo. He was the beloved husband of Radica Mahadeo for over 30 years. Bhim will forever be remembered by his devoted brothers and sisters, beloved children Bobby; Rocky; Asha; Jenny; Curtis and Sharda. Treasured great granddaughter Taylor along with grandchildren Candace, Madison, Kristin, Falcon, Phoenix, Hunter, Matthew, Joshua, Beau and Blake, also countless nieces and nephews and other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
Bhim loved listening to music, enjoyed the beach, fishing and most of all being with his family, having fun with friends and enjoying life.
He touched the lives of many people with his smile, laughter and generosity. The funeral was held at The Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home at 511 Emmett St, Kissimmee, FL 34741.
Loving Father and devoted husband. He will be sadly missed.
