Earl S. Cackett, age 61, of Kissimmee passed away on July 28, 2014. He moved to Kissimmee, FL from Utica, NY at an early age. He was an avid NASCAR fan and worked for the Osceloa County Property Appraisers office after he retired from Publix. He is the son of the late Earl S. Cackett Sr. and Theresa Cackett. He is survived by his mother Theresa Cackett; loving wife of 32 years, Linda Cackett; father of Roger Thompson of St. Cloud and Tammy (Tim) Higgins of Oviedo, FL; grandfather of 7; brother of Steven E. Cackett, David E. Cackett, Michael E. Cackett, and Bill E. Cackett all of New York and Donna Bishop of New Hampshire. He also has many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, August 1, 2014 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at CONRAD AND THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with services at 2:00 PM with the Pastor Leonard Thompson of HeartCry Chapel, officiating. Contributions can be made to HeartCry Chapel 2244 E Irlo Bronson Hwy. Kissimmee, FL 34744.

Richard Zaine “Balloonman” Ashby, 67 of St. Cloud passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014. He was born in Hoboken, Georgia and moved to St. Cloud last year from Madisonville, Tennessee. He was a bus driver by trade, but better known as “The Balloonman” as he loved to entertain people with his balloons. He was also an avid fisherman and loved motorcycles. Richard was also a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving his country with distinction.
Richard is survived by his wife Sharon of St. Cloud, Florida; brothers: James Edwards of Folkston, Georgia, Randy Edwards of Hoboken, Georgia, J.W. Edwards of Nahunta, Georgia; sisters: Shirley Thornton of Scriven, Georgia, Rose DuBose of Jacksonville, Florida and 3 grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his sons Ricky, Chris andStacey and 1 grandchild.

Gloria Flore LaFlamme, age 69, of Kissimmee, FL was a resident of Good Samaritan Village where she was known for raising butterflies, gardening and fishing passed away on August 3, 2014.
She was born in Lowell, MA on June 1, 1945 to John E. and Juliette La Flamme. She is survived by her mother Juliette Stolle and her brothers Michael LaFlamme of Kissimmee, FL and Donald LaFlamme of Danville, VA.

Brandt Robertson Bass, 57, went home to be with The Lord August 25, 2014. Born the Son of Thomas Clyde Bass, Jr. and Jo Ann Robertson Hulton, he was a lifelong Osceola County resident and was a general contractor in construction. Brandt was an active member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans Jacob Summerlin Camp #1516 where he had previously served as a commander. Brandt also belonged to Eastern Avenue Baptist Church, St. Cloud, Florida.
Survivors include his mother, Jo Ann Robertson Hulton, Kissimmee; daughters Kendyl Leigh (Kaylon) Bass, Kelsey Jo Meredith (Daniel) Bass-Mascarel, both of St. Cloud; and Brandie Rae Toney of Colorado, sister Beth Ann (John) Thomas of Georgia; four grandchildren, a nephew and niece.
Celebration of Life service will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M., August 30, 2014 at Eastern Avenue Baptist Church, St. Cloud, with The Reverend Jim Callen, officiating.
