Haydee Batista-Perales, 83 of Kissimmee passed away Friday, April 18, 2014. She was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico and moved to Kissimmee in 1979 from Miami, Florida. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kissimmee.
Haydee is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Domingo of Kissimmee; son: Domingo Batista Jr (Karen) of Polk City, Florida; daughters: Yvonne Perales of Kissimmee, Florida, Evelyn Nunez of Kissimmee, Florida, Margie Alvey (Joe) of Kissimmee, Florida 15 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Haydee was preceded in death by her children: Albert,Joey, Luis and Norma; brothers and sisters: Luis, Eva, Edna and Luis; and her parents: Luis and Providencia Perales.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1603 N. Thacker Ave., Kissimmee, Florida 34741.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Kissimmee.

Robert “Bob” G. Layton, age 66, of Orlando, FL passed away on May 3, 2014.
Bob was born in Port Jervis, NY on November 1, 1947 to James and Ethel Layton. He was a disabled Airforce Vietnam Veteran and was active with The Disabled American Veterans Chapter #16 in Orlando, FL. He is the brother of Debra Wombles of Kissimmee, FL and Cindy Oursler of Orlando, FL; uncle of Joshua Wombles, Stephanie Wombles, Rebecca Wombles, Michael Shaneyfelt, Michelie Shelton of TN, Jessie Shaneyfelt of TN, and Haley Shaneyfelt of CA; 5 grand nephews and 5 grand nieces.

Harry Dale Brushwood

Harry Dale Brushwood – Passed away May 9, 2014 in Kissimmee after a valiant battle with brain cancer. Born July 2, 1938 in Tampa, FL, Dale was the son of Harry Ellsworth Brushwood and his wife Pearlita Marie. He grew up in Winter Park and was a graduate of Winter Park High School where he was voted “friendliest” by his classmates. Dale went on to graduate from Florida State University with a degree in Math Education.
Dale began his career as a math teacher at Maynard Evans High School in Orlando. In 1972 he received his Master of Education from UCF and was an assistant principal at Evans for several years. He later moved to the district level and founded the Instructional Computing Department to purchase computer equipment for schools and train educators on how to use this new technology. Dale was a pioneer who helped spearhead the use of technology in education for Orange County Public Schools. In 1996 he retired from the school system as the Director of Technology, Planning, and Implementation.
Dale was an active member and elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA). He was a gifted Sunday School teacher who could lead adults and youth. He stood up as a leader in the churches he attended and served as a session member and Clerk of Session many times. Many friends and church members will remember him for his passion for the church and his faith.
Dale is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Lynn. Their two children, Jennifer Marjorie Lynn Alami (husband Omar), and Christopher Todd Brushwood (wife Carina) will remember him as a loving and intelligent father. His three grand children Ryan, Jensen, and Michaela will always remember him as their beloved “Grampie”.
Dale also leaves behind his sister, Lynn Winter, half-sister Sue Davis, and other extended family. He is also survived by his daughter from a previous marriage, Christine Anne Brushwood.
A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Kissimmee on Saturday, May 17, 2014, 11:00 am.

William Rajcoomar
William Rajcoomar, age 26, was called to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Kissimmee, Florida on May 13, 2014. He was born on May 23, 1987 in Queens, New York. He is the son of James “Bill” Rajcoomar and Janet Achan. He was a resident of Florida for the last 11 years. He graduated from Poinciana High School and earned an Associate’s Degree in Computer Aided Drafting from Florida Technical College.
William was a kind, honest, good-hearted young man who kept his family and friends close to his heart. If any family or friend was in need of anything he would always be the first one to offer help. He often attended Calvary Assembly of God Church in Kissimmee. He was a very angelic soul and is with his Christ Savior whom he loves with all his heart and love by all. He’s been a blessing to everyone’s life that he touched. He will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his mother Janet Achan, his sister and brother in law Christine and Dwayne Brown, Uncle to Kingstin and Layah Brown, grandson to Narainswamy and Pattee Achan; nephew to his many uncle and aunts, loved by his many cousins and friends.
Visitations and services are pending.

Joy Anna Roberson, 96, of St. Cloud passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014. Born in Aberdeen, South Dakota,
She moved to Osceola County from there in 1921. For many years she was a co-owner with her late husband Roscoe of Roberson’s Drug Store on Broadway in downtown Kissimmee and was Protestant. She was a member of The Order of The Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge both in Kissimmee and Kissimmee Elks Lodge Elketts.
Survived by son, John R. (Kathy) Roberson, St. Cloud; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services in Rose Hill Cemetery will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 10th, 2014 with the Reverend Myron Sartin, officiating. Visitation for friends will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 9th, 2014 at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home.

She lived her final days at Consulate Health Care where she touched many more lives before her passing. She leaves behind her daughters; linda Cockman, Robin Scott and her sons Edward andTimothy Gray. With a multitude of grandchildren and even great grandchildren that will always know Bami. She was proud to be a part of an unusual fact of being 1 of 5 living generations. She now joins her husband Howard C. Fink III with our Lord God in heaven. May she find the happiness life gives so rarely and rest in peace.

Her precious grandchildren, Robert Jeffray Breisinger II, St Cloud Florida,
Kailey Erynn Barrett, Tampa Florida, Rachelle Elizabeth Barrett, Tampa Florida,
William Carey Barrett III, Tampa Florida, and Margaret Mackenzie Barrett, Tampa Florida. Her brother James (Nita) Eggers, Titusville Florida, sister Shelia (Donald) Glass, The Villages Florida, brother Charles Eggers, St Cloud Florida,
Uncle William S. Stover, Emmitt Idaho, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in Death by her Loving parents, her father Charles Harold Eggers, mother Virginia Marie Eggers brother Robert David Eggers, and grandson Jacob Asher Barrett.
Carol was a graduating member of Osceola High School Class of 1960.
Ken (Retired Air Force) and Carol, along with their children who are proud Air Force BRATS moved all over the world with the Air Force, they got to see and live in many beautiful countries. After Ken retired they continued to travel going back many times to visit all the places they had lived as a family. Carol enjoyed a good, long, loving Christian life, and was very proud of her family.
Visitations for friends will be Monday June 16, 2014 from 5-7 pm at CONRAD AND THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME. Graveside services are 11:00 am Tuesday June 17, 2014 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jack Pate and Rev. David Beal officiating.

Pamela Robbins Castle, age 60, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 19th, at the Vitas Hospice Facility in Winter Garden, following an extended illness. Pam is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Castle, her parents, Fred and Susie Robbins, and brother, Fred Robbins Jr.
Pam and Leo owned and operated Castle Roofing in the Kissimmee area for many years. Pam was also a medical transcriptionist for several local doctors. A member of Evergreen Baptist Church, she played piano for church and worked with the Vacation Bible School and other youth programs. She was instrumental in developing a program for Special Needs adults at Evergreen. Pam has a special place in her heart for Special Needs people and donated many hours working with Special Olympics.
Pam is survived by sons, Robert Castle and Marc Castle (Bonnie) of Kissimmee; daughters, Gianna Castle, of Kissimmee, and Michelle Prescott (Neal) of Okeechobee; grandchildren, Chad (Christine) Prescott, of Okeechobee, Tiffany Prescott (Heath) of Okeechobee, Chelsea Castle (Eric) of Kissimmee; great-children Trenton (Hoss) Prescott of Okeechobee , Kamryn Rodriguez, of Kissimmee, and Tate, Eli and Rayfe of Okeechobee. She is also survived by two sisters, Arlene Mack of Ft. Pierce, Lois (Bobby) Glisson of Ocala, brother, Eddy (Evelyn) Robbins of Kissimmee, and Nan Robbins (sister in law) of LaBelle, Phyliss Gann (sister in law) of Amarillo, TX.
