Michael Maloney

Michael Maloney, 85 of Kissimmee passed away Tuesday October 20, 2015. He was born in Tulla, County Clare, Ireland, April 24, 1930 the son of Patrick Moloney and Catherine Broderick Moloney and moved from Carmel, New York to Kissimmee, Florida in 1974. Mike was a retired Lineman for The New York Telephone Company and was a Member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kissimmee. He was a volunteer for The Campbell City Fire Department and he and his brother Patrick Moloney established a scholarship in their name at Valencia Community College.
Survivors includes: Wife, Thelma Jean Maloney; daughters: Catherine Walther of Plano, Tx., Ellen (Joseph) Snyder of Windermere, FL.; sons: Michael (Rose)Maloney of Boston, MA., Thomas (Candi) Maloney of Kissimmee, Fl., James (Elsy) Maloney of Minnesota, Patrick (Terri) Maloney of St. Cloud, Fl.; a brother Patrick Moloney of New York; grandchildren: Christopher Maloney, Ryan Maloney, Sarah Maloney, Paul Walther, James Walther, Matthew (Nikki) Snyder, Kristy Snyder, Shannon (Dustin) Stevens, Bryan Maloney and Erin Maloney; great grandchildren: Benjamin Snyder Kirk and Brock Stevens; Step son: Phillip Keith of Virginia; step grandchildren: Crystal Keith, Brittany Keith and Thomas (Angie) Keith; step great grandchildren: Makayla Collins, Resse Keith, Cole Keith and Evelynn Keith; brother in law: Charles (Beth)Gardner.
A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. at Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home with The Father Tim LaBo of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, officiating.
