George William Rocker, 83 of Kissimmee passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at his home with his loving family by his side. George was born in Queens, New York and had lived most all of his life in Kissimmee except serving in the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War and living 10 years in Australia and Arkansas. George was a prominent businessman, citrus grower and rancher in Osceola County for many years. He was also a member of Heartcry chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores Mildred Rocker; daughter Betsy (Jeff) Ballantine; sons, Dr. Jeffrey (Selena) Rocker, Billy (Jeannie) Rocker; Sisters, Selma Segrest, Joan (Foxy) Hall and Catherine Rocker; brother, John (Mary) Rocker; 8 grandchildren, Wheeler, Wyatt and Savannah Rocker, Abbie Dixie and Jozie Rocker, Bryce and Grace Ballantine and 1 great-grandchild, Avery Rocker.
A Celebration of Life Service for George Will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at The Heartcry Chapel, 224 East Irlo Bronson Highway, Kissimmee with Pastor Leonard Thompson, officiating.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions be made to The Heartcry Chapel in memory of George.
