Robert Edward Perkins, Jr., 58, of Orlando died suddenly Monday, December 8th, 2014. Born in Waltham, Massachusetts the son of Lt. Col. (USAF ret. )Robert Edward Perkins Sr. and Eleanor Perry Carrleton Perkins. He moved to Orlando from Miami in 1999. He was a Security Dispatcher for Sea World of Orlando and was Baptist.
Growing up in an Air Force family, Bob lived in many areas of New England. He joined the US Air Force at 17 and did two tours, including an overseas tour in Turkey.
Upon his discharge from the service he married Nancy Kite in 1984.
Bob loved all sports, especially The Boston Bruins, The Boston Red Sox and NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years Nancy Kite Perkins; 2 sons, Steven James Perkins and Christopher Logan Perkins; a sister, Beth Perkins Curtis of South Hero, Vermont; brother, Charles Howard Perkins, II of Lancaster, New Hampshire.
Funeral Services for Bob will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at The First Baptist Church of Kissimmee, 1700 John Young Pkwy, with the Reverend Tim Wilder, officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the church. Inurnment later in Rose Hill Cemetery, Kissimmee.
